Bringing the whole world into the classroom with virtual reality — North Rhine-Westphalia is launching a groundbreaking pilot project and providing around 3,000 VR glasses for schools and teacher training centers. The goal: to integrate innovative technologies into everyday school life. Over the next five years, the potential of VR technology is to be tested in teaching and at the same time promoting new didactic methods.
Seven companies, one common goal: to make our pilot project a complete success. By working closely together and combining the diverse competencies of the participating partners, we create a strong basis for successfully implementing the project.

An der Henry Ford Realschule in Köln wurden mit dem Autorentool CoSpaces beeindruckende islamische Persönlichkeiten in interaktiven Ausstellungen zum Leben erweckt. Im Zentrum standen ihre bahnbrechenden Beiträge in Medizin, Mathematik, Technologie und Musik – sowie die revolutionären Entdeckungen, die sie maßgeblich vorantrieben. Mit den VR-Brillen tauchten die Schülerinnen und Schüler in diese spannende Welt ein und erlebten hautnah, wie Geschichte und Innovation auf faszinierende Weise miteinander verschmelzen – und ihre Lernreise so auf ein völlig neues, aufregendes Niveau katapultiert wurde!
